In our first assignment we had to create a surreal, dreamlike photograph; thus I naturally thought of an abyss above the clouds. It is not supposed to enact heaven; however, its supposed to provoke this eerie, dreamful feeling. I choose to put my own face in the center of the clouds, and then others portraits of people I had surrounding me. By putting my face as the center I was trying to show how it was my dream, my utopia, and my fantasy. It would be my dream to live in clouds, thus why I choose to use the life above the clouds as my background and foundation.
